Anthony Abrantes

Anthony is a Senior Council Representative at the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters, which represents 40,000 Union Carpenters from D.C., Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. He serves as the Team Lead and Political Lead in addition to other capacities. Anthony also serves as an elected officer in Local 254 as the Vice President and Delegate in addition to many other leadership capacities. He also serves on numerous boards throughout Morris County and Union County. Prior to joining the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters, he interned at the Attorney General’s office working for the NJ Division of Criminal Justice – Organized Crime and Racketeering Bureau and was a Corporate Investigator for a large retail company. Anthony received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a concentration in Justice Studies from Montclair State University. Prior to that he attended Central Connecticut State University on a baseball scholarship before coming back to NJ. In his spare time, you can find him playing sports with his children, spending time in Lavallette (the Jersey Shore), playing golf, or eating at one of our fine area establishments. An Essex County native he has been in Morris County for 27 years and now resides in East Hanover, NJ with his wife, Nicole and their two children, Nicolette and Anthony Jr.
