Morristown Neighborhood House operates before and after school programs in Morristown, Denville and Dover serving children from kindergarten to fifth grade, primarily from low income households.  Students receive assistance in completing homework assignments, individual and group tutoring, and structured activities that promote teamwork and healthy choices.  Children can partake in activities such as arts and crafts, dancing, gardening club, and multiple athletic programs that guarantee to keep them active.
Morristown operates both before and after school programs acting as bookmarks to the student’s day.  The program begins at 7 am to meet the needs of working families and prepare kids for a challenging day at school and runs until 6 pm to give parents ample time to finish the work day before they pick up their children.  After School Programs serves as a liaison between parents and the Morristown School District to ensure that the skills our children learn are applied at home and to facilitate communication between families and their teachers.  For more information, call 973-538-5493.
Project Safe in three Dover locations provides affordable after-school care to children of the Dover Community. The program is open to all children, grades K-8, who are enrolled in Academy Street, and North Dover and East Dover Middle Schools. Project Safe provides an educational, supportive, nurturing environment for children who would otherwise be in an unsupervised home setting or have nowhere else to go.  Project Safe is a culturally sensitive program that provides academic reinforcement through homework assistance and participation in a variety of enrichment activities until 6:00pm. It is also our goal to build strong character through techniques that are modeled and practiced daily.  For more information, call 973-538-5493.
