Caregiver Outreach in the Workplace

Every day, many of us face the challenge of balancing the roles of caring for a parent or loved one while working full-time and sometimes while raising young children. This stress can take a toll on the individual employees well as businesses across the country.

Cornerstone’s Caregiver Outreach in the Workplace program offers free, customized, on-site support services to employees of local businesses to help them in their role of caring for an elderly loved one. Our professional geriatric care manager provides expert advice to employees to assist them make strong decisions regarding the care of their loved one. Advice and resources on self-care to reduce stress are an integral part of this program.
Services include:
  • “Lunch and Learn” sessions on a broad range of topics dealing with aging
  • Tips and resource information to improve skills
  • One-to-one consultations after each presentations and follow up when necessary
  • Caregiver support groups
