Memory Lane

For the senior:
Although there is no cure for Alzheimer’s disease, Memory Lane can help retain physical abilities and memories as long as possible.Within our Senior Day Centers, Memory Lane members have a specially designed space equipped with with stations ofcrafts, tasks and other familiar activities from earlier in their lives. The environment is relaxing with few distractions from therapeutic activities, and offers more individual attention from staff than the larger center. Memory Lane seniorsintegrate with the larger Adult Day Center group to socialize and participate in recreational activities for a good portion of the day so they continue to feel a part of their community while receiving specialized services. They will have plenty of stories to share with their caregiver when they return home.

For the Caregiver:
Memory Lane is a special gift. Caregivers can relax knowing that their loved one is in safe capable hands that not only care for the senior, but help them remain themselves for longer. Unprecedented caregiver support is what distinguishes Memory Lane as a ground breaking program. Support groups run by a Registered Nurse with guest speakers from the Alzheimer’s Association, local pharmacies, and experienced caregivers give our families the support they need to stay strong.
