English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

About this course

Our curriculum aims to ensure that our students achieve verbal and written communicative competence in real-life settings. Content is organized into themes to include work, family, home, school and community. Lesson plans are focused on developing reading, writing, speaking and listening skills within each unit. Our strategies include technology to help students gain skills to safely search the internet for jobs and write resumes. Sessions meet two nights a week at the Morristown Neighborhood House.  For more information, please contact Ivy Ramos @ 973-538-1229 or iramos@cfp-mnh.org.

Our course begins with the first step for generating great user experiences: understanding what people do, think, say, and feel. In this module, you’ll learn how to keep an open mind while learning.
