Cornerstone Family Programs Raises Over $200K at Semi-Virtual Gala!

15 Morris County Hosts, Platinum Sponsors Virginia and Mike Ranger and CHUBB and Other Supporters Combine to Hold a Successful COVID-Friendly Event

Morristown, NJ, June 15, 2021 — Cornerstone Family Programs altered how to plan their annual spring gala and hosted A Gala in Your Garden on June 12, 2021.

The event raised well over $200k from sponsorships, ads, donations, and a virtual auction. This innovative Virtual Event replaced a typical 350-400 in-person Gala that was supposed to take place in April. Proceeds from the event will support children’s programs at Morristown Neighborhood House, our Adult Day Center and Operation Sisterhood.

Hosts who held A Garden Paryy invited 10-15 friends and family to celebrate the organization and enjoy champagne, hors d’oeuvres, a four-course meal, and dessert. Director of Development, Gwenn DellaPelle, and Chief Executive Officer, Patrice Picard, conducted a brief celebratory Zoom Champagne Toast with all of the attendees and some supporters.

Virginia and Mike Ranger and CHUBB were the two Platinum Sponsors of The Garden Party. Other Sponsors included Lydia and Eric Muller, Lisa and David Welsh, Dun & Bradstreet, Nancy and Rob Bezzone, Karen and Jeff Kirby, Francene and Joseph Forgione, Patrice Picard, Kate and Todd Schermerhorn, Kathy and Matt Sheeleigh, Cara and Bill Skrzat, Denise and Dean Vanech, Cadia Private Client, LLC., Dr. Judy Banks, Anne and Paul Krump, Manuel Monge, McKirdy, Riskin, Olson & DellaPelle, P.A., Melanie and Alan Smith, Nikki Sumpter, Bernadette and Louis LaValle, and UPS.

“We are so grateful to all of the sponsors and the community for supporting A Garden Party and all of our programs at Cornerstone Family Programs. We had to create a fundraiser in lieu of our typical in-person Gala back in January.  We thought our supporters would like to have a Gala-worthy party brought to their own home with family and friends that have been in their bubble” states Gwenn DellaPelle, Director of Development.
