About this course

#NabeTeens@Work

Our teen-focused employment program recruits high achieving, low-income students who compete for jobs supporting our Morristown Neighborhood House programs. During the school year, students work as paid mentors, tutoring elementary school kids enrolled in our after-school programs. With this experience, they are then placed in paid summer internships with local businesses. Teens can also apply for roles as paid camp counselors-in-training, gaining hands-on, paid experience and valuable job readiness skills working in our 9-week Summer Camp. Within the context of their employment, all teens are required to participate in our educational workshops series focused on job preparedness, financial literacy, and character development.
