Dear Friends of the Morristown Neighborhood House,
Diego and Ana should be excited for team sports, water play, new friends, and all the simple joys of being kids at summer camp. However, the family is still recovering from a recent devastating house fire that uprooted their lives overnight.
With their home gone and finances stretched very thin, their mom is doing everything she can to keep life feeling normal for her children. Diego and Ana have found safety and comfort in our programs, where they can just be kids again. Summer camp would give them something even more—a chance to heal, laugh, and create happy memories during this difficult time for the family
But this summer, their mom faces an impossible choice. She can only afford to send one child to camp.
No parent should have to choose between their children. And no child should be left behind.
