Patrice Picard, CEO at Cornerstone Family Programs and its subsidiary organization, the Morristown Neighborhood House. CFP, founded in 1813, a multi-service human services organization serving children, families, and older adults. MNH, founded in 1898, is a neighborhood center for underserved populations including recent immigrants. MNH joined Cornerstone in 2013. Patrice has a broad background in both non-profit and for-profit sectors. She began her 20-year history with Cornerstone in 1999 when she joined the Board of Directors; she became CEO in 2008. Patrice led Cornerstone during the Bicentennial celebration year and through a rebranding and a merger that doubled the size of the organization. Patrice’s experience in the for-profit sector includes a background in Human Resources, Administration, Marketing, and Banking. Patrice was named as one of New Jersey’s 2014 50 Best Women in Business by NJBIZ. She is a member of The National Advisory Council for the Center for Engagement and Neighborhood Building and is a member of the National Conference Planning Committee at the Alliance for Children and Families. Patrice is the President of the Family Service Association of New Jersey, and received the 2009 Tribute to Women Award from the Boy Scouts of America. Patrice also served as President of the Junior League of Morristown, and as Chair of the New Jersey State Council of Junior Leagues. Patrice has a B.A. in Industrial Psychology from Purdue University. She also has a Master’s degree from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University.
Sam is the Head of Digital Experience for BlueVine Capital, a leading financial technology brand that is on a mission to empower small businesses with innovative banking designed specifically for them. In this role, Sam oversees the business’s primary customer acquisition channels including the website and organic search. In business since 2013, BlueVine has proudly supported more than 450,000 small business and has provided more than $14B in funding to help them grow and succeed.
Prior to BlueVine, Sam was a Managing Director with Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG), where he led a successful global digital experience consultancy, MullenLowe Profero. He is an expert in the consumer mindset, in building brands, and has a passion for developing new technologies that support both.
Sam has more than 15 years of experience as a marketer, designer, developer and strategic advisor for brands across wide range of categories and growth-stages.
Sam lives in Morristown, NJ with his wife Jen and three young children (Theo, Avery and Logan). As a family they enjoy traveling and the outdoors. If it involves fresh air, a sport, a beach, a hike, a campsite, a garden or similar the answer is always “yes.”
