Jacquelyn Looby, VP & Director of Programs – Jackie was recently promoted to her current position for her achievements in program management and developing key community partnerships throughout Morris County. She has developed and grown our #NabeTeens@Work Summer Youth Employment Program successfully mentoring 65 youth since its inception in 2015. Under her leadership, she expanded and nurtured our female veteran’s program, Operation Sisterhood for hundreds of female vets bringing interest and support from key civic leaders including Cleopatra Tucker, Aura Dunn and Mikie Sherrill whose recognition helped to secure national funding. In her previous role as Director of Volunteers & Programs, Jackie directed more than 1,200 community and corporate volunteers clocking in over 7,000 hours annually. She was successful in recruiting employee volunteers from Novartis, BASF, PWC, Wyndham Worldwide, Aramark and Merck whose time and talent helped to transform classrooms and playgrounds and assisted in youth career mentoring. Jackie’s community relationships helped to secure essential sponsorships for various programs including our travel basketball league, college prep and community food programs. Most notably is the success of our annual Hope for the Holidays program where she has secured critical gifts for over 100 families during the holidays accounting for $60,000 in funding. In 2018, Jackie was nominated an Emerging Leader by the National Alliance of Strong Families and Communities to enter the American Express Leadership Academy in New York City. This highly selective training program convened 72 of the nation’s most promising emerging leaders to successfully assume executive leadership positions and to prepare them for the challenges and opportunities unique to the nonprofit sector. Jackie serves on the Morris County Youth Services Advisory Committee and holds a BS degree from the University of Scranton in PA.
