She has developed and grown our #NabeTeens@Work Summer Youth Employment Program successfully mentoring 65 youth since its inception in 2015. Under her leadership, she expanded and nurtured our female veteran’s program, Operation Sisterhood for hundreds of female vets bringing interest and support from key civic leaders including Cleopatra Tucker, Aura Dunn and Mikie Sherrill whose recognition helped to secure national funding. She was successful in recruiting employee volunteers from Novartis, BASF, PWC, Wyndham Worldwide, Aramark and Merck whose time and talent helped to transform classrooms and playgrounds and assisted in youth career mentoring. Jackie’s community relationships helped to secure essential sponsorships for various programs including our travel basketball league, college prep and community food programs.
