Biography

Mark P. Cantaluppi is an accomplished C-Suite executive with nearly 30 years of experience at public and private companies. While the preponderance of his career has been as a CFO, most recently Mark has been the CEO and board chairman of a private equity-backed company. Areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, administration, governance, operations, accounting, financial reporting, finance, risk management and investor relations. He played a central role in building one of the most respected brands in U.S. commercial real estate. Mark has a strong record of financial and operational success while engaging the financial community, equity investors, boards of directors, and its committees.

Commencing in December 2020, Mark became the CEO and a board member of Alliant Technologies, LLC dba TenFour. TenFour is a private equity backed organization that provides IT infrastructure and networking as-a-service to its clients. He was additionally appointed board chairman in October 2021. His tenure with TenFour started in February 2020 when Mark was named the Chief Financial Officer.  During his time with TenFour, he was responsible for managing the finances of the business during the Covid-19 pandemic and as CEO, Mark oversaw the reorganization and ultimate sale of TenFour in February 2022.

From May 2007 to November 2018, Mark served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Reis, Inc. (NASDAQ: REIS). Reis provides commercial real estate market information and analytic tools to professionals that have capital at risk in commercial real estate in the U.S. During his tenure, he oversaw the firm’s valuation growth from $90 million to $278 million upon the sale of Reis to Moody’s Corporation in October 2018.

Prior to Reis, Mark served its public company predecessor, Wellsford Real Properties, Inc. (AMEX: WRP) in roles with increasing scope from November 1999 to May 2007, including being Wellsford’s Chief Financial Officer from March 2006 to May 2007.  Mark played an integral role in the reorganization of Wellsford including the reverse merger and backdoor IPO of Reis.  Other prior work experience includes being the Financial Reporting Manager and then Assistant Controller at Vornado Realty Trust (NYSE: VNO), a diversified Real Estate Investment Trust, and an audit professional at Ernst & Young LLP, a public accounting firm, where Mark started his career as assurance staff and ultimately attained the level of manager.

Mark is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA). He graduated cum laude from Villanova University.
